This is the gold standard treatment for hyper-pigmentation (also known as melasma, chloasma or sun-spots) and pigmented acne scars. Dermamelan blocks the over-production of the pigment melanin, while simultaneously breaking up and removing the existing ‘clumps’ of pigmentation sitting within the layers of the skin. This treatment is very effective for all types of pigmentation; can be used safely on all skin types; is effective for pigmentation that has failed to resolve after traditional skin lightening treatments, products or peels; can be used all year round; does not contain hydroquinone; it creates visible results within a week and rejuvenates the whole area treated creating an overall smoother and clearer complexion.
Recommended: Most people require only a single treatment. For very severe, deep or stubborn pigmentation, a second treatment may be required.
This restorative face and body treatment will help to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and acne as well as improving uneven pigmentation. It works by repairing the texture of your skin using a glycolic solution derived from sugar cane which will buff away your dead skin cells, resulting in a smoother, more even and less wrinkled complexion.

Acne is a complex problem. To really understand how to rid your self of acne, we must first understand the real causes. Acne is not a Clearasil deficiency. It is not an antibiotic deficiency or a Roaccutane deficiency. It is not a curse, or blind fate. It does not exist randomly and for no reason. Acne is a message. It is an unequivocal signal that something is awry internally. It is very much like when the check-engine light starts flashing on your dashboard. It is letting you know that something inside is wrong, and needs to be fixed. To take drugs that suppress the symptoms of acne, is akin to cutting the wire in order to get the light to stop flashing, instead of fixing the problem.
Both will get the light to switch off, but one is a superficial, quick fix that will
very likely lead to further problems down the road. The idea that what you eat has no impact on acne is out-dated and has been disproven. Quite simply, diet has almost everything to do with acne. However, for pretty much everybody, there is no ‘magic bullet’. No single thing that is missing from the body or from the diet, that simply replacing (or cutting something out) will fix. Instead, there is an interconnected web of problems, which need to be unravelled and addressed.
Here is the problem with almost every acne treatment in existence – they treat the symptoms, not the underlying causes. What we need to talk about is how to simultaneously treat the symptoms, in order to calm and heal the
skin externally, while, critically, treating the underlying problems so that your acne is healed for good. In fact the Clear Skin Program at Santi Health has been designed for this purpose and it’s what makes us unique in a market flooded with quick fixes, wonder creams and broken promises. We have put together a comprehensive program that will help to heal your skin externally, while correcting the underlying problems internally. This has the distinct benefit of achieving fast results while at the same time achieving long term, permanent results.

Laser vein therapy is a highly effective treatment for reducing small caliber veins, spider veins, capillaries and vascular lesions in any area of your face, body or legs. Whether you’re seeking treatment for cosmetic or practical purposes laser vein therapy is a safe, fast and noninvasive treatment suitable for all skin types.
What are varicose and spider veins?
Varicose veins are blue or purple enlarged veins that are raised above the skin. They usually occur in the legs due to standing and sitting for long periods of time. If left untreated over time, varicose veins may lead to health problems in the future.
Spider veins (so called because they resemble a spider’s web) are like varicose veins but smaller and lie close to the skin’s surface, usually on the legs and face. They are less prominent than varicose veins but also more common, affecting millions of people worldwide.
What causes varicose and spider veins?
Varicose veins can be genetic, hormonal (common in pregnancy) or a sign of weak or damaged valves. The valves in your veins should prevent blood flowing backwards, however if blood flows back to the vein and collects there, this clogs the vein, making it appear bigger than before. If you have many varicose veins, it’s important to treat them as they may continue to get worst.
Spider veins occur for the same reasons, or may also be a result of sun exposure, lifestyle and injuries.
These veins can be unsightly and embarrassing. But by treating them, you’re not only helping to regain body confidence, but also preventing a build-up of veins which can lead to health problems if left untreated.
How does laser therapy work?
Laser therapy uses brief pulses of laser light to destroy smaller blood vessels. Blood inside the vein coagulates and is then encouraged to flow back to the veins which are deeper below your skin’s surface. This is where the blood should usually be. The light is later absorbed harmlessly by your body.
Does laser vein treatment hurt?
Generally laser treatment should not hurt and you should be able to return to work afterwards. Depending on the size and depth of the vein, some people may experience a stinging or tightening sensation during treatment. Discomfort of course varies from person to person.
How long does laser vein treatment take?
Laser treatments typically last between 15 – 30 minutes. You should be able to continue with your day afterwards. Santi is open during the evenings and weekends, so you can even schedule a session after work.
How many laser vein treatments are required?
This depends on your requirements as an individual. About one to four courses of treatment is a typical. If your veins are larger, then you may require some further sessions. Please contact us for a free consultation to see what treatment plan will be best for you.
How quickly will I see results?
You should begin to notice an improvement typically after two weeks, though some patients report seeing their results after one session. Final results may not become fully apparent for six to 12 weeks. This is because it takes some time for your body to reabsorb the coagulated blood. After this period the results should be significantly clearer looking skin.
How long does recovery take
You should be able to continue your day right away, though we advise that you avoid intense physical exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
Are there any side effects to laser vein treatment?
There shouldn’t usually be side effects, though again this varies according to the individual. Some people experience redness in the skin, though this should improve after 24 hours. If larger veins have been treated, then there could be some discoloration which would last for a few weeks.
What about after care?
If you experience a sore sensation after your treatment, an ice pack can help reduce symptoms. Any soreness should reduce after a couple of days.
Further courses of laser vein therapy may be suitable if you suffer from recurrent varicose and spider veins.
